Walking past and looked like a good place to sit outside and eat. Go to back of building to enter. Ask employee about sitting outside, she cheerfully says "go right on out". Get to door server holds open door for us, but doesn't say word. We seat ourselves. Another server(?) walks past us at least twice, makes eye contact but doesn't say a word or stop at table. First server comes back out, glances in our direction and no acknowledgment. Person that told us to go on outside, comes out and doesn't say anything. After 10-15 minutes of waiting we walked out. There were other tables being served. So can't tell you how the food is, since we never got to order.

We arrived a little before 7pm, ordered apps, enjoyed them. It’s now 8:22pm and we still have not received our entrees. Two tables that came after us have been completely served and left the restaurant. When I asked for the manager, the owner chef came out to say that our meal would be right out and that food doesn’t always come out in the order it’s put in. No apology no offer of appetizers or desserts. Poor customer service. My brother is a chef and that is so NOT true. Food was tasty, but service awfully disappointing.

Incredible atmosphere with the old time gas pumps and signs. Sitting outside on the pattio is very relaxing. Drinks were excellent and great food!

I always enjoy going here, the service is always friendly and fast, the menu is great even though it has not changed in many years, it's still delicious! The outside beer garden is a great place to watch traffic, have a drink and a meal and bask in the sun! All around one of my favorite places to visit in saint Charles!
